13th Trattlerhof Charity Wine & Golf Cup in Bad Kleinkirchheim
The 13th Trattlerhof Golf Tournament Week from 3 to 8 June 2024 was traditionally dominated by wine, culinary delights and a successful auction in aid of the SOS Children's Village Moosburg. (House 3)
In addition to the smiling winners of the 13th Charity Wine & Golf Cup, the children of the SOS Children's Village Moosburg can once again look forward to a proud donation of € 7,500. The participants enjoyed a wonderful and above all varied week of tournaments in the Bad Kleinkirchheim golf arena and on neighbouring courses in Carinthia.
Trattlers Hofleute & the Forstnig family once again delighted the participants this year with wine tastings from renowned Austrian winegrowers, enjoyable culinary delights at the Hotel GUT Trattlerhof and the Trattlers Einkehr mountain hut restaurant, fashion tips from Römermoden and a large wine and rarities auction. The Trattlerhof was supported by the wine merchant Morandell, the wine glass producer Sophienwald, the golf accessories supplier Papa Hummel, the Kleine Zeitung newspaper and many partners from the region.
"We are delighted that this year we have once again raised a proud sum of € 7,500 for the children," emphasised Jakob Forstnig, hotelier of the Hotel GUT Trattlerhof. This sum was presented to Dieter Wallner, representative of the SOS Children's Village Moosburg, by the organisers on Saturday evening.
Wine tastings from the wineries Assigal (Styria), K+K Kirnbauer (Burgenland), Josef Igler (Burgenland) and Horst Wild (Carinthian Winegrowers' Association) from fine hand-blown glasses from Sophienwald rounded off the evenings and the award ceremony. The guests were spoilt with culinary delights from the team at Hotel GUT Trattlerhof and Trattlers Einkehr. Delicious slow food specialities accompanied by fine wines from the winegrowers were on the menu.
Roland Wiedergut (GC Schloss Finkenstein) and Loni Kipping (GC Bad Kleinkirchheim) came out on top in the men's and women's competitions respectively.
Other participants included Senior Playing Pro Arthur Rodriguez Reyes, Dieter Wallner (SOS Kinderdorf) and ski emperor Franz Klammer.
