Why golf is so brutally difficult (and yet so addictive)

Why do you often play with less confidence away from home – and how can you use precisely that to your advantage to play better golf? In this video, I’ll show you why an unfamiliar golf course can be not just a risk, but also a great mental opportunity.

Many golfers play solidly on their home course, but suddenly feel more cautious, less confident and less at ease when playing away. New tees, different greens, different angles and unknown hazards can immediately create pressure.

But there’s another side to it:
An unfamiliar course doesn’t yet know your old mistakes.

You haven’t yet hit any poor drives into the out course there.
You haven’t missed short putts repeatedly there yet.
There isn’t yet a hole where you mentally tense up before you even tee off.
There, you don’t automatically have to re-enact the old story of your home course.

That’s exactly what this video is about.

You’ll learn:

  • Why your home course not only provides security, but also holds onto old mistakes
  • Why a new course can unsettle you, but also set you free
  • Why many golfers judge themselves too soon on unfamiliar courses
  • Why the phrase ‘This course doesn’t suit me’ is dangerous for your game
  • How to play unfamiliar courses with greater openness, clarity and curiosity
  • Which three simple questions will help you before your next shot
  • Why you shouldn’t play against old memories
  • How to become mentally freer and more present on an unfamiliar course

The key message:
An unfamiliar course isn’t automatically your enemy.
It can be an opportunity, because it doesn’t yet know your old mistakes.

If you want to learn how to play more consistently on unfamiliar courses, make clearer decisions and be less influenced by past mistakes, then this video is for you.

Why you play differently in front of certain people

That video is about how others judge you.

This video is about how your own memories judge you.
