BGA Masters 2024 - Charity golf tournament - at GC Lengenfeld

The helpful community of the "Bad Golfer Association" met for the traditional end-of-season Masters at Lengenfeld Golf Club to once again raise money for charity and determine their annual winners.

Supported by loyal sponsors and regular players, a considerable five-figure sum was once again raised for handicapped children and families in need in 2024.
Thanks to the excellent organisation by BGA President Gerhard Ullmann, Sandra Grünwald and the BGA Board, the participants were treated to a varied programme, from the starting gift at check-in to the valuable main prize in the big raffle.

From a sporting point of view, the Kamptal course in Lengenfeld was in excellent condition and the beautiful autumn weather accompanied the golfers throughout the day.
Nicole Farideh Glaser and Alex Rueber needed the fewest strokes for the 18 holes and thus took the gross victory.

The most net points and thus the tournament victory in the respective handicap class were achieved by
Erwin Ott (Gr. A), Gabi Walzer (Gr. B) and Lukas Unerfußer (Gr. C) - all from GC Lengenfeld.

Markus Stromberger's counter was not to be envied, he had to listen to a lot. At the end of the round, there were over a hundred "tally marks" on the "penalty card" for swear words.
Each of them brought 2 euros into the donation box. It was no surprise that Markus secured the day's victory and the annual "Prolo of the Year" award for the ninth time in a row.
At the award ceremony in the GASThouse golf restaurant, he was presented with the large winner's trophy to great applause.
