Despite the modest weather forecast, 63 golfers accepted the invitation from Bad Wörishofen Seniors Captain Wolfgang Ambrosius to a sociable 3-man scramble. Golfers from GC Starnberg and GC Tegernbach also took part. And as is so often the case, the participants were rewarded with better weather and the initial rain soon stopped.

As a result, the players were able to enjoy a nice, relaxed day's golf, enjoying refreshments at the traditional halfway refreshment station and the odd glass of wine and apricot schnapps.

As always, the highlight of the tournament was the evening event with the award ceremony and a raffle. Leni Gasser from Hotel Bräurup and the GC Nationalpark Hohe Tauern (both in Mittersill) were extremely generous and sponsored overnight accommodation and green fee vouchers, and the prize winners were delighted.
