GIA Tournament at GC Appenzell powered by Hotel Schermer

The traditional "Women against Men" tournament at GC Appenzell (Switzerland) was once again an absolute highlight this year and the victorious men in particular were in a great mood to celebrate until late in the evening 😊.

In glorious weather, 30 men and 30 women played against each other in a match play format and, as always, it was a close race for the honour of each gender. It goes without saying that there was also plenty of fun to be had, and so the halfway station was the perfect place to enjoy a few apricot schnapps and a Tyrolean snack.

Our tournament sponsor Jakob Schermer from the Landhotel Schermer in Westendorf (Kitzbühel Alps) had lots of great prizes with him and so more than 20 people were able to enjoy overnight vouchers - it's rare to receive such rich gifts at golf tournaments!
After the excellent dinner and the prize-giving ceremony, the guests danced to the sounds of live Italian music and celebrated extensively. An all-round perfect event that leaves you wanting more. We would like to thank you for your hospitality and are already looking forward to next year.
