Good friendships should be cultivated....

For this reason, golfers from Ottobeuren, Feldafing and 2 other clubs in the area accepted the invitation of Bad Wörishofen senior captain Wolfgang Ambrosius to a friendly tournament in four-ball bestball format. One of the clubs has been competing amicably for a challenge cup for 40 years 😊.

Despite the moody weather - bright sunshine was repeatedly interrupted by rain and squalls - the game was nevertheless played in earnest, as the participants knew that there are always high-quality prizes to be won when Golf in Austria sponsors a tournament with a partner hotel.

This year, Landhotel Schermer from Westendorf was involved and had some great prizes. Gift baskets with the hotel's own wine, schnapps and other delicacies as well as accommodation vouchers awaited the gross, net and raffle winners.

Some of the results were outstanding and the atmosphere at the evening event was correspondingly good, where a delicious barbecue buffet awaited the participants. After the award ceremony and the cosy conclusion to a wonderful day of golf, the golfers were bid farewell and will hopefully tell their home clubs about this wonderful event.
