GIA Tournament at GC Gut Rieden, powered by Landhotel Schermer

Good friendships are worth nurturing….

For this reason, nearly 90 golfers from G&LC Gut Rieden and seven other clubs in the surrounding area accepted Senior Captain Ilse Luig’s invitation to a wonderful Stableford-format tournament.

In ideal conditions (marvellous weather, a perfect course), every point was fiercely contested, as the Landhotel Schermer from Westendorf was taking part and, as always, had some lovely prizes on offer. Gift hampers containing the hotel’s own wine, schnapps and other delicacies, as well as green fee and accommodation vouchers, awaited the gross, net and raffle winners.

After the prize-giving ceremony and a cosy rounding off of a wonderful day’s golf, the golfers were bid farewell and will hopefully tell their home clubs all about this lovely event.
