GIA Tournament at GC Kirchheim-Wendlingen, powered by Landhotel Schermer

“Gentlemen invite ladies” – this was the theme of a tournament held this week at the GC Kirchheim-Wendlingen – powered by GiA and the 4*Superior Landhotel Schermer in Westendorf (Kitzbühel Alps)!

A proud 84 participants – 42 ladies and 42 gentlemen – braved the wet weather to take part in what has now become a traditional tournament, held for the 15th time this year. Each team consisted of one lady and one gentleman, who competed in the ‘four-ball best-ball net’ format to score as many points as possible.

The tournament format contributed just as much to the relaxed, fun atmosphere as the flawless organisation, our traditional refreshments – including wine and apricot schnapps – and, of course, the free beer after the round – sponsored by the ladies 😊.

At the awards ceremony in the evening, not only were the five most successful teams and the special prize winners honoured with fantastic prizes, but a further nine people were also presented with lovely prizes and hotel vouchers as part of the raffle.
