Burgenland has four fantastic golf courses to offer in addition to the endless expanse of Lake Neusiedl.

Two of the four golf courses are in the north of the province and two in the south. The 27-hole course of the Reiters Bad Tatzmannsdorf golf club is home to Bernd Wiesberger, Austria's number 1! The region enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year and can even be played all year round in mild winters.

The easternmost federal state

Burgenland is the easternmost and smallest province in Austria in terms of population.

Red wine & Uhudler in southern Burgenland

Uhudler is a traditional and legendary wine in southern Burgenland.

The Uhudler comes from American vines and is extremely resistant and therefore requires no chemical plant protection. It is a purely natural product. Only wines that have undergone sensory and chemical testing may use the Uhudler designation. Depending on the variety and origin, the colour varies from a pale light yellow to a bright cherry red.

The baroque Esterhazy Palace in Eisenstadt provides an impressive insight into the once glamorous life at the court of the Esterházy princes.

The Mörbisch Lake Festival is an annual operetta festival in Mörbisch am See.

With around 150,000 visitors, the Lake Festival is the world's largest festival of the operetta genre. The natural backdrop of Lake Neusiedl is always incorporated into the stage design. In the summer months of July and August, the Lake Festival in Mörbisch is a must for all lovers of art and culture!
