For 35 years, Golf in Austria has been working to promote Austria as a golfing holiday destination and to market the services of specialists in golf holidays in Austria effectively. It is impressive to see how our golf courses, our hotels and our marketing have developed in the process! However, we do not wish to dedicate this year’s Golf in Austria Symposium to the past, but rather to look ahead to future developments and opportunities. With over 25 years’ experience as a presenter in the fields of sport and business, this native of Lower Austria brings his expertise and in-depth insider knowledge to events. He gained this experience as a UEFA manager for the 2008 European Football Championship and as a long-standing sports journalist.

Klaus Nadizar has been in the golf business since 1993. An experienced golf travel writer, editor-in-chief of several corporate publications, and specialist in products and online publishing.
He is editor-in-chief and founder of Simply Golf GmbH, a golf magazine for the DACH region, which he runs with a passion for relevant stories, fantastic photos and superb design! #simplydifferent

1.45 pm: Michael Althoff – The importance of the customer journey in the golf sector – How golf courses can optimise the customer experience

Michael Althoff is a managing partner at MC Management Consulting. A management consultancy specialising in tourism and golf. Its consulting philosophy: specialist expertise for specialist sectors! Its clients include all the leading names in the tourism sector as well as well-known companies in the golf industry.

3.00 pm: Theresa Moosleitner – Success in golf marketing: what’s next in the digital age

Theresa Moosleitner is a graduate of the part-time Bachelor’s degree programme in ‘Innovation & Management in Tourism’ at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. She brings the fresh perspective of the younger generation to the table and hopes to see the right balance in tourism between personal, magical moments with and for guests and the right level of digitalisation.

Frank Adamowicz has been playing golf for over 50 years. As a golf instructor, national coach and successful team coach, he has won numerous titles and awards. He is a sought-after speaker and expert on golf-related topics, has already published three golf books and eight DVDs, and gives talks at companies and events.
