Golf taster in Kaiserwinkl

Immerse yourself in the world of golf with a pro at your side - you can do this in the Kaiserwinkl holiday region in Tyrol, which also offers a potpourri of activities from e-bike and rafting tours to paragliding. Take a taster course to find out whether golfing will become the fascination that passionate players rave about. In addition to exceptional accommodation in a protected high moorland area at the foot of the Kaiser Mountains, picturesque alpine pastures, rivers, waterfalls, gorges and the pleasantly temperate Walchsee await you.

Day 1
Arrival

• Individual arrival and check into your pile dwelling chalet or suite at the Golf and Sporthotel Moarhof in Schwaigs on the edge of the Schwemm nature reserve.
• Today's programme includes a voyage of discovery into the nature reserve: a moor expert will guide you through one of the largest contiguous moor areas in North Tyrol and introduce you to the many rare animal and plant species.

Day 2 to 5

• Your golf taster course begins on Monday morning. Leonhard Astl, member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) and son of the house, will show you how to get the ball to fly properly in his golf academy at the Moarhof golf resort. Starting today, two lessons are scheduled every day. With the support of your qualified golf trainer, you will learn the practical and theoretical basics of the sport and gain your golf licence - your personal golf certificate.
• There is plenty of time to relax before and after the golf lessons. Enjoy the private swimming pond or the resort's wellness centre!
• Explore the beautiful landscape of the Kaiserwinkl holiday region on an e-bike ride.
• A worthwhile excursion destination is the Burgeralm alpine dairy, where you can enjoy a snack and a glass of alpine schnapps as well as a marvellous mountain panorama.

Optional activities

• 3-hour rafting tour in the Entenlochklamm gorge between Kössen and Schleching (daily by pre-booking; € 45 per person)
• 70-minute balloon flight over the Tyrolean mountains (€ 280,- p. p.)
• Tandem flight with the Kössen flying school (€ 150,-)
• Visit to a fruit distillery incl. schnapps tasting (€ 19,-)
• Mountain hikes to rustic alpine pastures and the most beautiful views of the Tyrolean mountains, as desired for demanding sports enthusiasts or leisurely connoisseurs
