Golfclub Föhrenwald Wr. Neustadt

Since May 2019 there is a second golf course next to the GC Föhrenwald, the GC Linsberg. This is 4.5 km from the GCF and 1 km from the Linsberg thermal spa. For the GCF members there are now 36 holes available and thus a better range of games with a high workload, tournaments and big events.

On both courses the Canadian-Irish golf architect Jeff Howes has left his mark and these courses are maintained by the Headgreenkeeper Wayne Beasley and his Greenkeeperteam.

GC Föhrenwald:

More than ever, the GCF is well worth a visit. You will feel at home at this unique sports facility in a pleasant atmosphere, with a high level of service, very good course quality and a good sporting level. It is unspoilt and an oasis of peace, on whose fairways nature-protected pebbles romp around.

GC Linsberg:

Embedded in the wonderful surroundings between Leitha, Hoher Wand and Schneeberg, a demanding 18-hole course awaits you.

In addition to the lake and forest holes, the left-hand holes with the original Pott bunkers are a special feature of the course. From hole 10, a par 3 to hole 14, a par 4 you will experience a real "left feeling".

GOLF AREA 36 : "Where the new golf is at home".

Since May 2019 there has been a new golf dimension in Eastern Austria. With the opening of the new golf course Linsberg Golf, GC Föhrenwald, which has been established for decades, is joining forces with the Asia Therme under a new umbrella brand. 36 great golf holes and 36 degrees warm thermal water, only 36 minutes away from the cosmopolitan city of Vienna, make up the GOLF AREA 36, the new golf stronghold in the southwest of Lower Austria.

The advantages are obvious: Two different golf courses offer a varied golf experience. Afterwards, wellness and relaxation at the highest level are tempting in the direct neighbourhood.
