Gschwantner Leisure Park Prize at GC Lengenfeld
The Gschwantner Leisure Park Prize was held this year on National Day.
For over 40 years, the Gschwantner family’s businesses have been enriching the leisure offering in Lengenfeld. As well as the cosy bed and breakfast with outdoor and indoor tennis courts, there is also a rustic wine cellar available for Heurigen evenings in convivial company.
Combined with the 36-hole golf course, guests can look forward to a varied range of activities in one of Austria’s best-known cultural regions.
The Stableford golf tournament was played on the perfectly prepared Kamptal course; unfortunately, the participants waited in vain for the sun to come out – the fog remained stubbornly thick.
Nevertheless, some very good results were achieved. Gabriele and Alexander Rueber from Ottenstein Golf Club played the best rounds of the day with 32 and 15 gross points, respectively.
In the net category, Erwin Jobst, Walter Kurzmann and Roman Ramlohr – all from Lengenfeld Golf Club – came out on top.
To round off the tournament, the Gschwantner family invited everyone to a meal and the prize-giving ceremony, and presented the winners with vouchers for the leisure park’s wide range of activities.
