What do you think is the main cause of anxiety and insecurity for most golfers?
Over the years, and to give credit where credit is due, for me too, the biggest cause of anxiety has always been when we focus too much on the results and what they mean. As we have all experienced so painfully, certain factors in golf are beyond our control. For many of us, managing this is often the hardest part of a tournament. There are a plethora of factors that are out of our control and ultimately cause us anxiety and uncertainty. This can relate to the scores of our flight partners, the composition of the flight, the start time for the round, the weather, delays or the course conditions.
Trying to control these factors is a losing battle.
