Marc Pircher Charity Golf Tournament ‘Dirndl and Lederhosen Fun’ in aid of the Lichtblickhof
Schlager star Marc Pircher has caught the golf bug and particularly enjoys playing at his favourite course, the Lengenfeld Golf Club.
His idea of organising his own charity golf tournament met with great enthusiasm amongst his friends and acquaintances, and so the inaugural event saw a host of celebrities, friends and sponsors flocking to the immaculately maintained Kamptal course.
Whether it was Minister Karoline Edtstadler, double Olympic champion Michaela Dorfmeister, luge world champion Markus Prock, cabaret artist Gery Seidl, crowd favourite Christian Spatzek or football legend Otto Konrad – they all enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere during a convivial four-ball Texas Scramble.
The atmospheric prize-giving ceremony at the GASThouse golf restaurant culminated in a concert by Marc and the presentation of a donation cheque for the impressive sum of €8,000 to the Lichtblickhof, a care home for children with serious and life-shortening illnesses, disabilities or traumatic experiences.
The date for a repeat of this successful event next autumn has already been set and will be expanded to include a fan walking day with Marc Pircher around the magnificent Lengenfeld golf course.
