The Montafon Golf Club is the oldest golf course in Vorarlberg. Surprisingly flat, this beautiful golf course fits into one of the most famous Alpine valleys and offers impressive views of the rugged peaks of the surrounding mountains. The Montafon Golf Club has a very informal atmosphere, the clubhouse is known for its good food and extra children's tees ensure a relaxed golfing holiday for the whole family. The 7th hole, for example, is a sporting challenge, with a carry over a sea of flowers and a biotope lurking behind it, and the 8th hole, the longest par 5 of the yellow tees in western Austria at 542 metres.

The landscape

The marvellous landscape of the 39 km long valley offers plenty of space for leisure and sports activities. Active holidaymakers and sports enthusiasts can explore the south of Vorarlberg by hiking, mountaineering and climbing. The striking limestone cliffs of the Rätikon in the north-west, the crystalline central alpine rock of the partially glaciated Silvretta in the south and the Verwall in the north-east provide the perfect setting for this.
