The better you want to play, the worse you sometimes play.

Do you play more often, practise regularly and invest a lot of time in your golf – but still aren’t making any progress? In this video, you’ll find out why playing more golf doesn’t automatically make you better, and how you can turn every round into a clear learning experience.
Many golfers confuse activity with development. They play several rounds a week, hit extra balls on the driving range and expect that more repetition will automatically lead to a better handicap. But repetition initially only reinforces what is already there.

If you play without a clear focus, make technical corrections immediately after every mistake, or judge every round solely by your score, you’ll gain experience – but not necessarily make progress.

In this video, you’ll learn:

  • why a round of golf isn’t automatically training
  • how to avoid reinforcing the same mistakes over and over again
  • why a clear focus is more effective than five good intentions
  • which three questions will significantly improve your post-round analysis
  • why recovery is part of successful golf development
  • how to train in a more targeted way with a simple four-step process

The key idea is:
Playing more golf mainly reinforces what you’re already doing.
That’s why you don’t necessarily need to play more rounds. You need better learning loops:
Play – recognise – adapt – apply again.

A poor shot is rarely the biggest problem.

It is often the next stroke that makes all the difference.
