The last 10 balls before your round of golf aren’t part of your practice anymore.

You decide whether you head to the first tee feeling clear-headed and ready to play – or with a jumble of swing thoughts and fresh doubts.

In this video, I’ll show you a specific 10-ball plan to help you make a conscious transition from practising to playing.

🏌️ FREE GOLF PERFORMANCE WINTER CHECK

Would you like to find out what you really should be practising this winter?

In a personal 30-minute consultation, we’ll look at:

• which situations regularly cost you strokes last season
• which of these require technical work
• where routine, decision-making or concentration become an issue
• how to apply your existing skills more reliably on the course
• which training priorities make sense for your winter

You can book your free appointment here:

Many golfers start warming up before their round – and, without realising it, end up in a hectic technical session. One ball flies to the right, the next to the left, and suddenly every shot is being analysed and corrected.

The result: your body is warmed up, but your mind is more unsettled than before.

In this video, you’ll learn:

• why observation so quickly turns into self-assessment
• why you shouldn’t be seeking technical perfection just before your round
• how the pursuit of a perfect final ball makes you dependent on the result
• how to refocus your attention on your goal and the task at hand
• what you can actually do with the last ten practice balls
• why you should stop after the tenth ball – even after a poor shot

The key insight:

You don’t need to prove that your swing works before the round. You need to be ready to start playing with whatever game you have today.

Mental readiness to play doesn’t mean that all doubts have vanished. It means that, despite these doubts, you can make a clear decision and then play.

How are things with you?

After warming up, do you head to the first tee feeling more focused – or do you have more questions in your head afterwards than before?

Share your experience in the comments. It’s particularly interesting to know whether, after a poor final practice shot, you also feel like: “I need one more.”

If you’d like to learn how to perform more consistently on the course, then subscribe to the channel.

And if you know a golfer who’s still frantically trying to find their swing just a few minutes before their tee time, send them this video.

Perceive. Decide. Play.

Enjoy the game and live a great life.
