Race to Wörthersee Final 2026

35 participants, three days of golf and indulgence, and a final in one of Austria’s most beautiful golf regions: At the 2026 Race to Wörthersee Final, the qualified golfers were treated to a very special break in Carinthia.
Throughout the season, the Wörthersee-Rosenthal golf region had sponsored various tournaments at German golf clubs. What made it special was that it wasn’t just the traditional gross and net winners who had reason to celebrate. The 38th-placed net winner in each tournament earned a place in the grand final at Wörthersee and, with it, the chance to enjoy an extraordinary golfing trip to Austria.
Arrive, settle in and enjoy Carinthian hospitality
The final began with a practice round. There were three golf courses in the region to choose from: Carinthian Golf Club Dellach, Velden Wörthersee Golf Course and Moosburg-Pörtschach Golf Course. This allowed the participants to tailor the first day of golf entirely to their own preferences and get into the right frame of mind for the tournament round.
In the evening, a real insider’s tip awaited them: at the Zocklwirt, the group was warmly welcomed to a welcome evening. This traditional pub, steeped in history, warmth and flavour, provided the perfect setting to raise a glass to the upcoming days of the tournament in a cosy atmosphere and to get to know the region away from the golf course.
Tournament day at the Dellach Golf Club
On the second day, things finally got serious: at the Dellach Golf Club, it was time for the tournament round. In glorious autumnal weather and against a stunning mountain backdrop, the players competed for the coveted gross and net prizes.
After the round, there was still time to reflect on the day’s golf before the next highlight awaited the participants in the evening.
An elegant finale at the Engstler Golf and Lake Hotel
The prize-giving ceremony took place at the Golf- und Seehotel Engstler, a long-standing member hotel of Golf in Austria. The Engstler-Nasarow family had organised the evening themselves, with great attention to detail. The tournament day drew to a special close with an elegant dinner, an atmospheric setting and the well-deserved honours.
