Race to Kitzbühel final 🏆

Great atmosphere at the final event "Race to Kitzbühel 2025"!
Almost 50 guests from near (Bavaria, Austria) and far (Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland) attended and made the final event of this year's "Race to Kitzbühel" an unforgettable experience!
The beautiful weather on the day of arrival and the 9-hole warm-up round at the wonderful GC Kitzbühel-Kaps got the participants in the mood for the coming days and whetted their appetite for more. In the evening, the official welcome took place on the Schweizerhof hotel terrace, followed by a shuttle bus ride to a traditional mountain hut evening. The two musicians created a great atmosphere, the excellent food and a few alcoholic drinks made for a sociable and fun evening 😉.
The next day, a Stableford tournament continued at the GC Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith from 09:00. A special highlight - next year the "Austrian Alpine Open of the DP World Tour" will take place on this course from 28-31 May. This gave the guests an impression of the fairways and the renovation work. As it was rather cool in the morning, mostly rainy and the tournament was not handicap-effective anyway, it was reduced to 9 holes. After the halfway refreshments, the players could decide whether they wanted to play the back nine or prefer a cosy wellness afternoon in the hotel.
In the evening, all players were welcomed with a delicious autumn menu and drinks, and the best players of the day were celebrated at the award ceremony. "Flo Bauer from Sky Golf, who had been commentating on the dramatic Ryder Cup in New York on television just two days earlier, was flown in especially for the event. He chatted a little from the sewing box and answered the participants' questions - a very likeable appearance and something special!
Finally, we headed to the spectacular, challenging 18-hole course at GC Eichenheim. In sunshine and pleasant temperatures, the participants were able to really enjoy the round, with the snow-covered mountains of the Hohe Tauern and the cloudy Wilder Kaiser in the background being popular photo motifs. After the round, the players fortified themselves on the terrace and then travelled home satisfied.
On behalf of Golf in Austria, I would like to thank the Kitzbühel Tourist Board, the 3 participating golf courses and the participating golf hotels for their generous support and the wonderful days.
And of course to all the participants, whose good humour, friendly and courteous manner and the personal "touch" of each individual made this event what we were all able to enjoy in the end.
