Race to Wörthersee final 🏆

Trial rounds were played at the Dellach, Moosburg-Pörtschach and Velden Wörthersee golf clubs. The final tournament took place this year at the Velden Wörthersee Golf Club. Unfortunately, only the first nine holes could be scored as the tournament had to be cancelled for the last flights due to a thunderstorm. The participants experienced all facets of Golf Wörthersee - from glorious sunshine to dramatic downpours. They were spoilt with culinary delights at the festive gala evening in the Spa & Golf Hotel Balance and in the JILLY_BEACH restaurant of the Seehotel Dr.Jilly.

As with every Race to Wörthersee 2025 tournament, the 37th player on the net list was able to enjoy an attractive prize from the Wörthersee golf region at the final. Why the 37th? - Because our association Golf in Austria, the specialists for golf holidays in Austria, was founded 37 years ago. So in 2026, the 38th place winner can look forward to an invitation to the final.

A big thank you to Wörthersee Tourismus, the three golf courses and the Golf in Austria hotels on Lake Wörthersee for generously inviting the finalists - and of course to all participants for their good humour and the shared golfing pleasure!
