A few years ago, Microsoft published a study according to which the average human attention span had fallen to 8 seconds. In contrast, the attention span of a goldfish is 9 seconds. Some observers today even speak of the goldfish generation. Why? Because many of us are finding it increasingly difficult to focus for longer periods of time. In the year 2000, the average person was still able to concentrate for twelve seconds. What are the reasons for this development?
