Course Management
There are four key elements or "pillars" that together form a solid foundation for good golf. They are like the legs of a table - if one is missing, the whole table becomes unstable. Each of the four legs is important. They can be seen as a mathematical equation:
Technique x Physical x Equipment x Mental = Success.
These four pillars could be expanded even further. For example, Frank Adamowicz categorises the very important topic of course management under the mental aspect. This is because the mental aspect is about developing an awareness of certain things and focussing. Reduction brings clarity and focus. If you understand the four pillars and approach them in a targeted manner, you will play golf more successfully.
