How can I train the moment of impact?
In English, the moment of impact is also known as the "moment of truth". That basically says everything about the meaning of the moment of truth. Have you ever thought about the moment of impact?
Grab a club and simulate your swing in slow motion. Stop the movement when your club hits the ball and look at your position. Where are your hands, your pelvis? At the ideal moment of impact, your hands would be in front of the club shaft so that the ball is hit as late as possible.
During the golf swing, you don't have time to think about this all-important moment. When hitting the ball on the driving range, you certainly haven't given much thought to the moment of impact either. You can even practise this at home by concentrating solely on this movement.
Perhaps some golfers don't even want to deal with it intensively. But then how can you improve? With a full swing, you can't focus on the moment of impact. It all happens far too quickly. But if you "show" your brain the correct position with this exercise, it will have a positive effect!
Knowledge is power! ... even if it is only used subconsciously.
