That was the Austrian Alpine Open 2025 ⛳✨
18,000 fans under the sign of top golf in SalzburgerLand
When 18,000 international golf stars and enthusiastic spectators meet at GCC Gut Altentann, there is something special in the air. The Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand offered four days of golf at the highest level - and against a backdrop that could hardly be more beautiful.
Just a short drive from Salzburg, nestled in the gently rolling hills around Lake Wallersee, the course presented itself from its very best side. The course designed by Jack Nicklaus - a true classic - was perfectly prepared and offered the pros everything a golfer's heart could desire: Tactics, precision and a grand finale in front of the clubhouse.
Golf greats within reach & pleasure for all the senses

The Austrian golf aces finished in the following positions: Maximilian Steinlechner, the best Austrian, came 22nd, Bernd Wiesberger 51st and Matthias Schwab 64th. The spectators cheered on their local heroes with enthusiasm - golf in Austria has once again proven how much passion and potential it harbours.
What makes this tournament so special, however, is the successful combination of world-class golf with the unmistakable culture and cuisine of SalzburgerLand. People strolled, tasted and savoured in the Public Village. From traditional delicacies to modern reinterpretations of Alpine cuisine.
