What do I need to consider for sloping and inclined positions? - Part 4

As soon as the ball is on a slope or an incline, there is usually a lot of uncertainty. How should I position myself? How does the position affect the ball flight? If your home course is rather flat, you will probably be one of those who become insecure when playing a hilly course. It usually works quite well uphill, as the ball is very easy to get into the air here. Downhill is a different story. I don't know any players who like playing downhill. So that you know what you should pay attention to in which situation, four different positions are discussed.

Position 4 - Standing under the ball

If the ball is above your feet, your grip must be shorter and your swing plane should be flatter. Not only in the backswing, but also in the follow-through! The ball is centred in the address position. In this position, the ball will have more of a hook tendency (i.e. fly to the left). This is because you will swing more strongly around yourself (i.e. flatter). Allow for a left turn in your alignment.
