What is the best way to stand at the ball?
Where should the ball actually lie or how should I stand in relation to the ball? According to the textbook, there is an "ideal" position. But who has an ideal swing? Accordingly, it can make sense to deviate from the norm in individual cases. So there is no "right" or "wrong", but "easy" or "difficult"... I will try to shed some light on this.
With pitching wedges, the ball lies in the centre, with a driver on the inside of the left foot. In addition, the type of shot requires different ball positions.
Don't make it unnecessarily complicated for yourself by doing things that don't suit you. I have seen students who hit the ball much better with the driver when the ball was positioned in the centre. This made it easier for them to keep their upper body behind the ball at impact and therefore achieve a ball flight.
The golf movement and its physical requirements require individual adjustments.
