All in all there are three 27-hole golf courses, nine 18-hole courses and ten 9-hole courses. The distance between the westernmost golf club in Tyrol, the Mieminger Golfplateau GC, and the easternmost golf course in the province, the Kitzbühel-Eichenheim GC, is exactly 130 km.

These two golf facilities are only a 20 minutes’ drive apart and show the full range of Tyrol’s Leading Golf Courses. The Zillertal-Uderns GC is Tyrol’s newest Leading Golf Course. It is marked by broad and perfectly maintained fairways, large greens, fruit trees and wide views. Its club house with a top-notch restaurant, a very cool lounge terrace and an integrated golf hotel is a prime example of what Tyrol’s Leading Golf Courses are all about. The Achensee GC is the oldest golf course in Tyrol and offers a flat and challenging golf facility between Alpine pastures, ancient forests and the Karwendel mountains – with many spectacular photo opportunities!

There are four golf courses within the city limits of Kitzbühel – and all of these golf courses are simply legendary. The oldest, the Kitzbühel Kaps GC – founded in 1959 – is “just” a 9-hole course, but it is absolutely worth playing at least twice! We recommend taking a break at the impressive club house of this traditional Tyrolean golf club, with a view of the 1st hole and the 9th hole. The Rasmushof 9-hole course is also legendary, especially because it is at the finish line of the famous skiing race that takes place every winter on the Streif downhill slope. The two 18-hole golf facilities Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee and Eichenheim are famous for their Alpine golfing enjoyment, magnificent views and many sporty challenges.

This is arguably the most famous panoramic view in all our golf regions, because it is also the setting for a popular TV series called “Bergdoktor”. Fans of the series can visit the locations of the TV shoots along special hiking and e-biking routes.

The 18-hole facilities of the Kaiserwinkl Golf Kössen-Lärchenhof and Reit im Winkl GCs and the two 9-hole courses of the Lärchenhof and Moarhof GCs provide a variety of convenient golfing options behind the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. Incidentally, you can reach this golf region by car without having to purchase a toll disc.

When playing golf at the Golfpark Mieminger Plateau, the Seefeld-Wildmoos GC, the Seefeld-Reith GC or on the two golf courses of the Innsbruck-Igls GC, you should definitely schedule a few hours to take a stroll through Innsbruck. The city boasts great promenades and many historic sights but also exemplifies a young and modern Tyrolean lifestyle.

The Kitzbüheler Alpen Westendorf GC is a comparatively new Tyrolean golf course (opened in 2014) and has developed into a true golfing gem.
